I got up early (6am) and went to a bible study at church. Afterwards, I went on a 11 mile bike tour to study different routes to Camp Geneva. My proposed route, with its three miles of dirt, turned out to be difficult. So, I tried going south of Chicago Drive. I ended up looping back on Riley and returning to church via Chicago Drive.

Further study revealed that a better route seems to be West on New Holland to 48th, North on 48th to Barry, West on Barry to 72nd, South on 72nd to Quincy, and West on Quincy to Camp Geneva. Basically, I needed to loop one road North of New Holland to skip the dirt. Here’s the proposed bike route. Avoiding the dirt makes it a total of about 20 miles.
